Super
Wheels SS were designed based on requirements and feedback
from 1/32 racers who actively participate in organized club
and proxy race events. Super Wheels SS were then
subjected to an extensive battery of tests to validate and
refine the design. The result is a high-performance
1/32 aluminum wheel which offers the following features and
benefits:

Perfect
concentricity between the axle bore and longitudinal
axis of the axle is achieved by designing the Super Wheel
SS for a specific axle (Slot.it SIPA01). Tolerances
between the axle bore and axle are extremely tight - in
fact, you will notice a slight amount of resistance/drag
when mounting or unmounting Super Wheels on the
recommended axle. This ensures concentricity
is maintained when the set screw is tightened. The
result – ZERO wheel wobble or vibration which can
adversely affect a car’s handling.

| How Much Do Super Wheels
Weigh? |
| You may have noticed we haven't
mentioned how much Super Wheels weigh (we will in just a
minute). This is intentional - it is our strong belief
that FAR too much attention is paid to weight when key wheel
characteristics have a MUCH greater impact on a car's
performance. Wheel manufacturers and racers alike tend
to take for granted that all wheels are created equal (and
perfect...) with respect to these other key characteristics -
in particular, "roundness", axle fit, concentricity
(particularly when the set screw is tightened) and tire
fit. Our real-world experience setting up and racing a
wide variety of 1/32 cars in competitive events suggests
otherwise. This statement is also based on testing
and/or machining hundreds and hundreds of our competitor's
wheels. Super Wheels were designed with a simple
philosophy - stay focused on those elements of a wheel that
have the greatest impact on a car's performance.
For the record, here is a summary of
how much Super Wheels weigh:
17x10mm - 2.6g/pr.
15x8mm - 2.1g/pr.
